The Hawaiʻi “Care Coordination, Case Management, and Capacity Building – Overdose Data to Action (C3-OD2A)” project, funded by the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), aims to provide activities, strategies, resources, and tools for the general public.
Opioid and other drug use and overdoses have affected thousands of people’s lives on the national and state level. As part of its prevention and response strategies, the C3-OD2A team provides infographics to raise public awareness in addressing opioid misuse, abuse, and overdose. The first infographic offers prevention strategies and informs the risk and protective factors of drug overdoses. Moreover, health and human service providers can use infographics to inform the general public. Stay tuned for the upcoming series of C3-OD2A infographics, which will focus on vulnerable populations, the social determinants of health, and the intersectionality related to drug overdoses.
